IMPLANTOLOGY
Dr. Norm Ickert is a Mentor, a Clinical Instructor, and a former Advisory Board Member at Seattle, Washington’s Kois Center. He has his IPS Mastership Certificate from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration. Through his training in the latest aesthetic and restorative techniques, Dr. Ickert is able to provide his patients and course participants with the latest and best evidence based information regarding comprehensive oral care, rehabilitation, and health. The focus is to minimize the risk periodontally, biomechanically, functionally and aesthetically, and at the same time increase the long term prognosis.
Dr. Ickert has a passion for inspiring, empowering, and encouraging fellow colleagues to experience the joy of providing risk-based, diagnostically driven, well-engineered treatment for their patients. Dr. Ickert has actively studied with and has been mentored and influenced significantly by the following leaders in dentistry: Drs. John Kois, Keith Phillips, Richard Tucker, Mike Pikos, Fouad Khoury, Dennis Tarnow, Carl Misch, Ken Hebel, Pat Allen, John Russo, David Garber, Maurice and Henry Salama, Sacha Jovanovic, Ira Say, and many others.
Dr. Norman W. Ickert completed his general dental education at Vancouver’s University of British Columbia in 1982. He is the Director of the Ickert Dental Implant Centre as well as the Director of the Ickert Teaching Centre. His practice, the Ickert Dental Implant Centre, is limited to surgical, reconstructive, and aesthetic dentistry. The dental implant training centre focuses on implant, aesthetic, and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Norm Ickert also actively pursues continuing education throughout the world and participates in a number of international dental and dental implant organizations.
Dr. Ickert spends his time between the Ickert Dental Implant Centre, where he provides treatment to patients in his referral- based practice, as well as the Ickert Teaching Centre, where dentists world-wide experience his passion and commitment to higher learning in the field of implant related comprehensive dentistry.
