AN ORAL CANCER PREVENTION UPDATE!
The British Columbia Oral Cancer Prevention Program (BCOCPP) consists of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers dedicated to the prevention of oral cancer development through improvements in detection, diagnosis and care.
This educational program will update you on the progress of this now internationally renowned team. Content will be current, practical and relevant to the entire dental team. Available resources, including the Clinical Practice Guideline for the Early Detection of Oral Cancer in BC 2008, will be included. See what is new and learn how to incorporate these techniques into practice today!
Michele Williams, BSN, DMD, FRCD(C) is a certified specialist in oral medicine and a founding member of the BC Oral Cancer Prevention Program (BC OCPP). She is an active member of the BC Cancer Agency Division of Oral Oncology and the Vancouver Hospital Department of Dentistry. She is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Oral Medicine and Pathology at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry, where she is Director of the Oral Mucosal Disease Program.
